Walking diary
Variations regarding itinerary and services included possible on a customised trip. Do not hesitate to ask!

• Day 1. Pick up at your accommodation (Tarragona area but custom location pick up also possible) and drive to Montblanc. Accommodation in a small appartment. Wine tasting of the local destination of origin of wine in one of the towers of the old medieval walls.
• Day 2. Free day in Montblanc, located at the foothills of Prades mountains. Information for a self-guided walk.
• Day 3. Free day in Montblanc.
• Day 4 . Train to Tarragona. Accommodation in small apartment near the train station and great views over the sea.
• Day 5. Free day in Tarragona.
• Day 6. Free day in Tarragona. Trip by train to Ebre Delta, stopping at the train station of Aldea-Amposta-Tortosa. Accommodation in traditional house in the Ebre Delta (owners will pick you at the train stration and drive you to the accommodation).
• Day 7. Activity with the local organic rice producer, get to know their everyday’s life, participate in the fields activity and finish the morning with a tasty lunch at a local restaurant (includes translator, drive around with the local producer, activity in the rice fields and lunch in local restaurant).
• Day 8. Birding activity with a local company, around 4 hours with an English speaking guide specialized in birds and Ebre Delta fauna (includes pick up at your accommodation, materials for birdwatching).
• Day 9. Departure by train to your next stop.
